Its winter, and it 'tis the season for bench racing.

I know theres a million ways to hit 12's in a fox body.
But how are YOU doing it?

91 coupe, stock motor with explorer intake and 3.73s with no mufflers and a five speed on drag radials. All stock suspension except lakewoods, 12.6@105 powershift the hell outta it.

This is pretty well everything in my signature with a few things I didn't have room for. Traction, weather, and good driving plus lots of practice are key to reaching your goal. If you are running the stock HCI 5.0 liter in your fox then you already have the power to run 12's, you just have to uncork the power you already have.

You'll need to 60' in the 1.6x-1.7x range, cooler weather is your friend for ideal times; I've run 12s in 90* heat but it's much easier and less strenuous on you and your car in the spring and fall, if it's a stick then powershifting is a must for ideal times as already mentioned by 331lx.

Keep records and practice as each track is different and launch rpms and tire pressure will vary depending upon track prep and weather conditions ie: extreme heat or extreme cold.

Peace :cool2:
