I need some adivce. I think I need some better axles. The car is a '95, has about 600hp supercharged, roll cage, 5 spd, 295/15 street radials. I'm hoping for a high 10 eventually.
My question is I do need better axles right? Are the C-clip kind OK or should I go with the C-clip eliminators? Any tips on a good source and brand?
Thanks, DR

I'd say use c clip eliminators the last thing u want to see is your own wheel coming past u at the track
C-clip eliminators. Do it right the first time. You can't go wrong with Moser or Strange.

You should consider using 9 inch ends instead of c-clip eliminators. Also have the axle tubes welded to the pumpkin while you have it out of the car.

Looks like I'm opening up a can of "might as wells'. I agree with all the above but I only have so much to spend.
I startred thinking I have never seen many axles "break" but several that the c-clips fail. My cheap bone is almost saying just go with the axles and a c-clip kit. Anyone know a good place to buy this stuff, I'd kinda like to stay with the same brand on both and get a package with all the bits. Another quandry is I have disc brakes, maybe even abs (check that asap) so what seemed an easy project is looking to expensive real quick.....
Thanks, DR

You'll probably kill your spider gears (if not running a locker or spool) before you kill the c clips.
C clip eliminators are a must and an NHRA rule.

31 spline axles with a good diff or spool along with 9"ends or c-clip elims will be plenty for your setup. That is what I still run in my coupe.

Definitely do it right the first time and do the 9 inch ends.
Moser Engineering used to have a calculator for what axle size/spline count you need on there web site. Not sure if it is still there.
