That sucks, I'm surprised 370 rwhp broke a block, unless he was making that power at a very high rpm.

What caused all this chaos

Rpms killed it

I had a stock block combo that dynoed at 313-320 and broke the crank in 3 pieces , taking out the front 2main webs. I regularly launched @6300 and shifted 65-6600. RPMs will kill a stock block.

There's part of the problem....those fancy freez out plugs and other threaded plugs they use dont help much level 3:bigthumb

It's inevitable with a stock block, at some point it's going to leave you stranded if your leaning on it. Not much salvageable there, wonder how the heads fared.

thats why i had new combo built i made 310hp leaving at 6500 on stock block

Rick, guy said heads weren't tore up much besides a bent valve in one of them.
