Here is a few parts that's about to go on the Termi. Gotta get the roll bar yet but have everything else. What's going on the car is a ported eaton, lethal performance egr delete, head cooling mod,160 tstat, billet flow 2.93 non slip upper and 4pc idler set,sct xcal2 & ba2600,3 gauge pillar pod, springs, jlt cai, flowmaster cat back with polished tails, car has an off road x now already, lfp tb and accufab plenum. Not sure if I am gonna run that tb & plenum or the posi ported set up I got with the ported blower. I'm sure I am forgetting a few things but that's the main stuff anyways.

Good luck. Sounds like a fun build. What head cooling mod are you going with. The one I went with is the LDC I think. Its the one that goes in on the top of the driverside head where the freeze out plug type thing is. I heard of people on svtp saying that putting a cooler thermostat will keep the car too cool and wont let it go into open or closed loop, witch ever it is after the car warms up. But I dont know either way. I went with the 170 from Reische Racing. They says 185 is ideal. I dont have a clue on all this close loop or open loop crap. LOL.

Wow those tail are lookin good. Great job. I tried to do mine but it just didnt work out. Either I wasnt using to proper tools or they wont polish up. What process did you use?

Head cooling mod is the gen2 one from lethal it was $124.95. Adam suggested to run a 160 tstat

Started out using a 150 grit flapper wheel then started the wet sanding process started with 400 then 600 then 1000 then 2000 then started the polishing process with mothers mag polish. Def alot of work no doubt lol still have a ways to go.

Yeah thats alot of work. You did all the wet sanding by hand right? Your work is paying off they look great.

Thats the same cooling mod I have. Let me know how that Tstat works out. I may switch too.

1987LXVert
12-26-2012, 03:55 PM
Adam put it on the dyno and said it made 470,said he said i'm losing fuel pressure at 6100he didn't wanna tweek on it anymore until the fuel upgrade. Runs good enough for me now. Either summer or next fall I'm gonna jump up to a Kenne Bell and at that time I will deal with the fuel.

Turbos are def nice but I'm just not big on em with Stangs. I've had a cuple 02 jettas with the 1.8t and those cars ran pretty damn good

Adam and I are in the process of stepping my car up to a big return style system as we speak. My car has a pretty killer returnless set up on it right now but I was maxing it out on e85 since it takes so much more volume. It has lethal performances old 1000RWHP returnless kit on it. (they dont offer this kit anymore) Fore triple hat with 3 GT supercar pumps, ZONE 5 MDM, Fore Precision High Flow Y Block and upgraded lines. Im making 637rwhp with my 2.9 whipple on it right now on 93 with zero problems. If your going to stay on pump gas this set up is plenty.

Hmmm very tempting what will you be asking for this set up? Yeah i'm def stayn on pump gas for sure!!

Not sure yet. I need to do a little research. I will find out whats fair then offer it to you for less since it saves me the hassel of listing it on SVTPerformace and dealing with shipping. I would like to move it quick to recoupe a small chunk of what Im spending on the new set up. Im ordering some of my stuff this week. I will keep you posted.

This is gonna be a very odd request. But could you PM me a close up on the material of your convertible top? I need to replace mine and I wanna see if the Cobra tops are the felt type instead of shitty parchment or if I should just wait for a custom top. Lol any help would be appreciated!

I'm lookin again. Need to sit and ride in an edge body again to reaquaint with the head room and ergonomics. Love the headroom in the S197 cars. Riding in a edge though always made me feel more like I was riding in my HS pal's 65 stang again.

Hard to find one virgin...truly virgin and not just restored to stock. I'd consider one that had exhaust and maybe a larger of the pulley upgrades, but all would depend on the dyno sheet A/F numbers. Has to be under 30K as well. Would love an SY 04 vert.

Low is cool until road rash appears on the fascias and/or undercarraige. Then its uncool. :cool2:

Thanks to my driveway curb, I can't lower my cars much if any at all. A chin spoiler will actually rub if I don't leave real careful and on the right angle.

Very true!! I think my kmember is only roughly 2-2 1/2" off ground
