Are you 4 or 5 lug? If 4 lug..can you fit a 15x10 w/ 6.5" b.s. on your car? I have a set of 26x8.5" hoosier slicks mounted on 15x10 rims that your welcome to make a few hits on. I'm going to be running on my set of 275/60 dr's most likely.

Neither, IMO. Both are hit or miss when it come to traction, but with it being toward the end of the season, I am sure they are not prepping that much.

Oh, I just want to enjoy the day and have fun and have the car pull itself on the trailer at the end of the day.

How's this? Not my best speed, not my best time, but my perfect 000 reaction time. Thanks Kennebell for letting me know to pick up that coveted sticker. Just proves that even a blind squirrel can get a nut. Two passes today. 12.92/110 on 2.05 60, and 12.86/109.98 on 2.03 60...OH AND A PERFECT TREE!!!!!!!!:D

3.31 gears seem to be the best for these auto cars.

It was a great day! It was kinda nice getting the Grand Prix out and beating on it for a while. Pulled off a 11.81 with a 1.71 60ft, the best for this year out of this new setup.

Great to see all you guys, since I have not been around a whole this year.

Also, stay tuned after the first of the year for another "Preston Cup" in the spring!!

BTW, Dale that was a blast running with ya. Sorry to hear that the gear change has not netted you anything, that sucks, I know the feeling.

Then two passes later the tranny blew out the front pump or converter hub seal after I shifted into high gear....heck of a smoke show..but luckily no fire.

Think it was at a 12.23 before i had it. I had it tuned by Nigel on the DSP cause when I got it previous owner screwed the tune up. I never ran it at the track

Wish those slicks Jeff was going to lend you would have fit. You'd been 14's for sure! Maybe even better. Can't wait to see what it will do with the turbo kit you have planned.

No shame in that, you have the perfect platform to go faster. It more fun dropping time then running the same time each year. Next is 14's then 13's and so on!

It was 16.0s 2 weeks ago before i swapped to a v8 cluster. Im shifting at 5500 before the power dies off...maybe ill try 5000 instead. The turbo kit is going to be a while, I have to fix the daily driver small parts first.
