Anyone try any of those ones Jegs and everyone sells? They are real cheap, like less that 200 a side. I just wonder about quality and such.
Thanks, DR
You get what you pay for.
Is this for your Land Speed project? I wouldn't put a $200 seat in a Land Speed or road race car. Even the Corbeau seats are questionable quality for something like that.
You're into some pretty fast stuff, don't skimp on your safety equipment. I wouldn't put anything in that car that isn't FIA approved. Sparco sells some nice entry-level fiberglass seats that are in the $350 range.
If you feel like wandering down to Milford, swing by the shop sometime and I can show you some of the options.

Thanks Gene, I agree 100% on saftey.
These are for my street/strip Mustang. It has a roll cage and may run low 11's.
The seat in the stock car is the real deal. It's all alluminum and has that "NASA" foam as we round trackers call it. And it's "poured" to fit my back.
Thanks, Dave
