when did you fall in love with mustangs

I think I was about 8 when my dad traded his harley for a 64-1/2 mustang. It was orange with white interior. Had a 289hypo with c4 and shift kit. I loved that car. He then later had an 89 coupe, 79 coupe, 70 boss, and 68 gt. I have since owned a 88 gt, 86 t-top, and the 82 mini tub. What about you?

I think my addiction started somewhere around late '85 or early '86. I wasn't even born yet. My mom had a '66 coupe with a 351w and an FMX auto, side pipes, aluminum slot mags, and dad had (still has) a '65 Fairlane 289 Hi-po 4spd.

I was raised up on old Mopars, so probably around junior high or so when I started looking into the "newer" stuff. Looking back now most of them were probably dogs, but the looks and sounds of the Foxbodys cruising around town always caught my attention.

I was in sixth grade. My best friends older brother had a buddy that got a white 89 GT for his 16th b-day. He took everyone for rides and that's all she wrote. I'm on number six and I see that number climbing over the years. Lol

I was 12. One of my best friend's dad (RIP Mr. Berry) bought his first Ford Shelby Mustang and just brought it back from Oklahoma where he had located and bought it from. It was a 1965 GT350. White w/ Blue stripes. 289 hypo/four speed straight shift (manual for you young guys). It even had a Paxton SC package on it pushing 430 HP. We went for a ride in it along with one of his dad's friends. Chris and I sat in the back on the rear seat delete area. Chris' dad nailed it out of a four way stop and we both cracked our heads on the rear window.

First mustang was a 73 Mustang Grande, 351C with a C6. My brother added some better heads, maybe CJ heads, 9 inch and converted it to a 4 speed manual. It was a fun car to drive.

Had a buddy in high school his parents were big into fox bodies and I had fell in love with them from his parents cars and when we were 15 they bought him a brand new electric red 93 coupe 5spd car. From that point on I've been hooked. Was shortly after that when I was almost 17 I got my 1st one from Gould which was an 87 GT 5spd car!! I am 35 now and this 04 Cobra I just bought makes my 33rd stang!! I guess you can call it an obsession maybe even a sickness lol!!!

don`t remember the year but had an uncle with a black sn95 with tan leather interior. he kept it dirty and i would clean it out for trips down columbia parkway
