It's probably a stupid question but where is the PVC valve on a 4.6 motor? I've been having idleing problems and I was told try replacing the PVC valve and since its on $6 I got it and now I can't find out where it is lol? Any help is appreciated.

Doesnt it go into the Cam cover on one of the sides? Should be a black vacuum hose going to one of the cam covers, pop the pcv valve outof the grommet, and there you have it.

What kind of idling problems? I put 196K on my 2V and never changed the PCV. Check the IAC valve. Mine was cleaned twice, and finally changed. It is a VERY common issue.
But yes, the PCV is on the cam/valve cover.

When it's cold and I'm stopping the rpms drop to around 500 and a lot of the time it stalls out...posted in here asking questions to see what it was, I was told to check the IACV by unplugging it and if my car died then it wasn't bad. So I was told to check the PVC valve and I figured since its a $6 part I might as well replace it.
