I have a 1998 Cobra that I really want to get a Termy Eaton onto. Does this mean I will need 03/04 terminator specific heads, or just any C head?
Is there anything else out there on the market that allows someone to bolt a factory eaton onto a 96-98 4v? I would love to keep my B heads if possible.

Any C head will work. The swap is quite easy and a few people in the local area have done them.

personally, i'd just sit tight and wait until you can find a good priced 03/04 motor and swap the entire motor. you've got the crank but your internals aren't going to hold it, for long. you can keep the boost light but we all know we'll ultimately want more. i shopped for parts and ended up buying a complete swap at the cost of $3,200. not a bad deal. if you have to take on even 2,500 or so for the swap plus heads you'll be in at what i paid but you still have the stock long block. you also may need head work? maybe your block needs some work?
less my blown gaskets when i originally did my swap, i put down 468whp. not bad for a '99 with an eaton swap. however, that would have been it's limits regardless of the heads issue and even then it's a ticking time bomb. one little blip on the a/f curve and BOOM.

If you decide to go this route and swap in a complete 03/04 Cobra motor, look up SONICSALEEN on SVT performance, he always has complete 03/04 engines and drivetrains for sale.

I know you wanted to keep the B heads but I think the Terminator swap is best way to go. But just my .02

Two main guys parting out 03/04s... One is in IA and the other is in TN.
I have both their numbers. The TN guy is who I got my swap from and the IA is who I bought my interior from. Don't buy their stuff off ebay. They have it at market value. Go through SVTP and work with them on a price...

Good advice.
