Wanting to do a gear change and ive never done a TTB set up anf really dont have time, anyone know where i could get this done for a decent price but yet do a good job? Any private guys can pm me if you want. I will also want to do the rears at the same time but its your typical 8.8

I put a lift on my 88 last summer. While i had it all laying on the ground i decided to reseal the front diff and install new u joints, its not a bad job but it was kinda time consuming since i did it in my gravel driveway. I wish i would have done a gear swap while i had it apart.

Time is my problem. I dont have a garage right now all i have is carports and worki.g 70+ hrs a week since were short handed at work i just dont have the time but i know with the gear change itll pay for itself in gas. Im in and out of overdrive at 55 and its hard to hold a steady 55 in overdrive since im only at 1200rpms

I've done a few of them mostly the reversed ones that are front driveline in dodges.

Its a gear change, take it apart put my new parts in. Its twin traction beam front end normal 8.8 rear. Going from stock 3.08 to 4.10 or 4.56. Not anything drastic just dont have the time to do it. The front will have a new carrier

There is a little more to it than that you have to get pattern adjusted right as well as preload. Whats the vehicle some are a pain in the butt to get the axles out of on the front.

I am having the same problem as you only I have the garage, just 1 person I know who can do it but no time. I need a gear installed in my 96 GT and I also live in Wilmngton.
