I was very, very close buying a new one from Terry, but got a deal to good to refuse on this one. If you want a helluva deal on a new one, Terry is the man to see for sure! :bigthumb

Very nice man, congrats!
Kevin, you need to come see me and go out in mine. The clutch is so smooth and the car is just plain nice. Id still like a terminator but they really did a great job on these cars. Congrats on your new car. Looks great.

Very nice car....I'm jealous!
Congrats! Those are awesome cars. I like the blacked out look. Is it a stick or an auto?

Now to figure out which mods to do. I don't want to go hog wild since this will serve as my DD.
Ideas ??
It's an auto.

Gears intake exhaust and tune. There are a few in the high 12s with those mods. Oh and a drive shaft. The stock ones can break if you mod them

A nice convertor, 3.73s, and a good tune...mid 12's all day long, drive better than stock.

Is it a v6?

Looks like a v6. The 3.7 is very nice as well. What gears does it have? 3.73 would wake it up. I would lower an inch and tint the tails. Tune would wake it up. Congrats on a sweet ride.

Congrats on a sweet ride.Thanks. :bigthumb It is the 3.7. Great engine! 305HP Stock. Takes a boat load of cash to get a 5.0 pushrod to do that! Direct injection engines are way under estimated. They are the wave of the future for gasoline engines.
I'm not sure of the gear set yet... Not sure if it has a tune on it already either. How would I tell if it had a tune already ??
I like the tinted taillight look but quite frankly, I don't trust other drivers behind me seeing them!

Almost forgot the best part! Check this shit out!
On my way home to Troy from Vandalia (about 12 miles), I reset the Fuel Avg meter, set the Cruise control on 65MPH.
Look at this!   NO JOKE !

Avg mpg dash readings are always severly optimistic.

Avg mpg dash readings are always severly optimistic. Is there a way to calibrate them ?

No, but the best way to figure it out is fill your tank and reset it then. Then fill up a second time and do the math yourself. This will let you see how close you are. Also you will notice when your driving if you lift off the gas and coast you can make it go up easily.

Nice car! Being a gearhead, there's no way I could go buy 2012 Mustang and get a v6....yes the gas mileage would be nice.... But if that's what you're looking for... Should've got a Fiat or a smart car, lol.

Doubt it has a tune or they would have the hand held tuner. You had option of 2.73 or 3.31 gears from the factory. I tinted my tails and you can easily see them in the sunlight.

Nice car! Being a gearhead, there's no way I could go buy 2012 Mustang and get a v6....Sure there is. I've been a gearhead since I popped out of the oven. Simple economics here...
V6 -Vs- GT
V6 SIX Grand LESS than a GT
V6 $125 less per month
V6 rated 31 MPG highway
V6 rides and handles very well.
V6 same pricer (or cheaper) than as a Focus!
V6 305 HP.... You gotta spend a shitload of $$$ to get a 5.0 Fox up there right ?
Daily driver for a long commute. V6 wins all around.
yes the gas mileage would be nice.... But if that's what you're looking for... Should've got a Fiat or a smart car, lol. It's called.....compromise. :cool2: Something members of Congress need to learn!

Yeah, but the V-6 with the track package handles the curves better than the new 5.0. Better lateral G-force and better slalom figures. Less weight is the key. Straight line--take the 5.0.

Not if you interesting in corner carving. Take your car to an auto-cross sometime if you really want to see how good, or bad, you are as a driver.
