My 85GT is at Goulds getting a very thorough resto job and is very close to being ready for some color. I have 3 different colors I think are sharp and would like everyones personal opinion on these. My car will be getting the mouldings and all trim painted black and the car will have a 2 1/2" HO Fibertrends hood. I will more than likely be going with the 17" 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels just like the 2 of 3 cars pictured have. Also had the Scott Rod panels welded in the engine bay and all the holes welded up for the smooth look.
Of these 3 cars which color do you personally like best? I know I am the one who has to ultimately decide and be happy with it but I would honestly love to hear some opinions.
Silver
Bright Atlantic Blue
Wild Strawberry
Thanks in advance!

Silver...but that is because that was the color of my '86 GT. Acutally I might go with the BAB or Sonic Blue...I just like that color.

Wild Strawberry if I had to choose 1 of your 3 choices.
My personal favorite is Coral Blue though...

If you're going that route, don't forget the curbfeelers, amber fogs, and Sparkomatic power booster...LOL!

Id go back to factory color if it was mine after that thorough of a restoration. However, if I had to pick, the new F150's have a sweet ass silver color.
Oh, you know what..... paint it 2013 Deep Impact Blue. With all the satin black trim. That would be drop dead gorgeous.

I like the blue Tim....... your car was already that kind of strawberry your Fusion is silver so I'd go with the blue it's something half way different.

I would first figure out what Tim likes as far as colors go but the blue and red on the new Chevy Cruze look good and stand out in the sun or the silver on the Challenger {paint code ps2}.

Tim knows what Tim likes... thats why I posted the pics of the three different cars. I just want to get Stangbanger opinions on these colors, I will ultimately go with my gut instinct when the time comes. Of the three colors I have posted I like them in the blue, silver, strawberry order. Thanks again for all of those that posted a reply to my thread!

Tim, I can't remember the color of your interior?? That's something to think about so it blends well. As far as colors I like silver, blue, strawberry in that order. Either way I'm sure it'll look nice. Can't wait to see it done.

After lots of thought and hours spent looking at pictures on the internet I decided to go with Bright Atlantic Blue. Here is a pic of the smoothed engine bay with some color applied courtesy of Gould and Son shop.

Looking forward to seeing it done. Still planning on the black trim and 10th Anniversary wheels?

I think you will be very happy with this choice. I looked and looked for a silver GT when I bought mine now I want to paint it sonic blue. Silver is a very nice color doesn't show flaws or dirt much and goes with about anything but it just doesn't "pop". Just my .02
