I've had this mushroom growing out of my yard for a while now. I'll kick them up every time i mow and two weeks later there back. Anyone know what these things are? They feel wax like and soft. There growing on some spots I had trees cut down and stump ground down. I then covered with dirt after that.

I don't know what the tree was but I have two different spots and they both have the shrooms. They will literally grow back in two weeks. Hard to kick out of the ground also. When I do kick them out they pull a root and chunk of dirt out with it.

They have fungicides that will take care of them. If its a low area that holds moisture that's a lot of the cause. We get them on the golf course on occasion in places we have drainage or have removed trees.
