mmr build?

I'm going to tear down the cobra this winter and build it for boost i was doing some research and seen where you could send your motor to mmr and they'll do i think a stage 2 job with all forged internals for 1850 . I thought that was a very reasonable price I'm just wondering how good of a company they are anyone dealt with them or know someone who has?

I know a guy that blew up a mmr shortblock not sure which one it was but it was a forced induction build so there are too many variables to question, but I would let a good local shop take care of it, I'm not a fan of pre built engines not knowing what is in there for sure and who put it together

Google is your friend.

There are a lot of issues with them. If you watch their build video, you will see them tighten up mains and heads but not bother to use a torque wrench.

I've heard of bischoff but didn't know they were local and one of the reasons i considered mmr is because they used quality parts and were reasonable on their price

Cheaper is not always better, never cheap out on ur engine..

Locally you have 2 great choices. My first choice is BES as I consider him the best engine builder in the game. Then I also give props to Steve barker as he does awesome work as well.

i hear a lot of good things about barker and tony bichoff is a world class engine builder. now have one of them build you that 32v 5.4 and turbo it and go wax all the lsx cars.
