I bought a Ar 2 weeks ago, and since its been a money pit :) optic quad rail, but stock is on the way. But I want to get rid of tr useless a2 flash suppressor. And go with a more functional muzzle break/compensator. Any recommendations? Product reviews or what ever?

Check JP Enterprises, Sure Fire, somebody makes a flash enhancer (if you want a big display) Noveske, Bravo Company. Check out Advanced Armament, they make muzzle brakes that allow their suppressor to thread on over it, if you ever think you'll get a suppressor. Also, check out AR-15.com.

I'm looking for a break, don't care about the flash. I want the muzzle to be more controlled

Ill check them out, I want one that will allow more control of the barrel with the shot, I don't care if it makes a fire ball lol just want it accurate

Battle comp is the best hands down.

Two stage trigger and practice will make you more accurate, not a silly muzzle break. Besides, recoil on an ar is basically non existant.

I'm a damn good shot, been shooting since 13, I am buying a trigger soon. But I saw mixed comments about them improving the ease of a follow up shot.

Honestly, the best I've ever used for general use is the standard A2. It's a flashider, but due to the holes only being on the top, it slightly keeps the muzzle down.

For competition there's better options, but having shot indoors with them and next to walls, it's not for me 90% of the time. For a straight rock n roll break I prefer Surefire.

I highly recommend watching this video - a lot of people are dramatically uninformed about recoil management. If you get a device like what many have recommended, have poor recoil management, and later get better management, you may find your original choice of muzzle device hinders you.

Get informed about WHY devices are chosen, not just what people say to get with a one word response.
