So Ohio's season starts around the end of Sept? Ky started Sept 1st along with dove season starting the same day!! Crossbow starts beginning of Oct unless you have prior approval to use them. Our bow season goes into Jan of next year.

I was out all day Saturday and Sunday at a friends, seen (3) Bucks Saturday but couldn't get them into shooting range and (5) Does Sunday and they walked up behind me, couldn't get the shot before they took off.

If any one will let me hunt with them I'm always looking to hunt?

I had a deer come in Thursday night around 730. It was behind me eating. I leaned around the tree to see it. Leaned back because I thought it saw me. Waited two minutes and peeked around the tree again. It was still there. I leaned back and drew my bow. I leaned back out and took the shot. It was a tight area to get a shot into because the deer was blocked by a tree and it was pretty dark out. Hit the deer and it took off. I waited a few minutes and hot down. Looked for blood and found it. Walked ten yards and could see the deer up ahead on the ground. It ran maybe 30 yards and dropped. To my surprise and disappointment it was a young buck. I wouldn't have shot if I seem the rack on it but o well. It's only my second deer and first buck. I got a doe last year. I'm going to pay and have the beetles clean the skull on it for a european mount. Hopefully I get a few does to fill the freezer up. If anyone has a place to hunt up around Loveland, mainville, morrow I greatly appreciate it. I'm hunting on the outside edge of the woods in my neighbors back yard. Not a good place but all I have.

Oh yeah. Its a untypical 8. It has 5 that you can see and 3 more small ones at the base. Also missing one that had broke off. Now let the funny comments begin on my monster.
