I knew the driver and am friends with the passenger. The driver Mitch Haber died at the hospital today and the passenger Alexander Lovett is still in critical condition. Thoughts and prayers please, hes a strong guy, I know he'll pull through this. :(

Always sad to hear of things like this. My thoughts and prayers go out to their families.

Please, I have one request for everyone on here. Wear your seat belts. I know it's your choice but a few of us care and would like to see you around longer.

no he wasnt at the meet. Mitch only had the car a few weeks and probably took the passenger for a joy ride. It was the 450 something horsepower model Saleen and i guarantee he didnt judge his speed for the road he was on.

Update: The passenger Alex has no spinal damage and it is seeming he will be ok. He is now moving his arms and legs, They removed a portion of his skull to relieve brain pressure, and it appears there should be no brain damage due to the immediate attention he received. Ill continue to update this as I hear it

Hate to hear that, man I hope your buddy recovers fully. And prayers sent for the family of the lost one.
