With the X plan I still come in at $34k for a base GT with the Track and Tech packages...

Called the owner, it has closer to 11k mils now, has a Hush Power cat back, C&L cold air kit and a Bama tune (:rolleyes:) with hand held tuner (I'm assuming a restickered SCT tuner) and comes with all the stock pieces. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from the bank.

BAMA tuner is an SCT. Would guess everything was purchased from American Muscle (not a bad thing).

When test driving the car make sure you give it the run through. THe clutch pedals have been known for hanging on the floor under "spirited driving". The rumored fix is to remove the clutch pedal assist spring that was put in place to make pushing in the clutch pedal easier/lighter. Other fixes for that have included changingthe pedal assmbly out and installing a GT500 pedal assembly and/or upgrading the plastic slave cylinder feedline to a braided steel line. Supposedly the 13's don't have this Spring any longer. Also be aware of shifting issues. Some have been found in the Getrig MT82 (assembled in China BTW). Last, if the car has a 3.73 gear in it factory or aftermarket, drive the car with the windows up, radio off, and see if there is a vibration that occurs between 65-75MPG in 6th gear. you may also hear a faintly audible low noted hum/rumble asociated. You will feel it in the seat, not in the steering wheel. It will not be felt below 60 or much above 75. Ford is not acknowledging the issue at the moment, though there are scads of issues on the 3.73 gear (factory option installed or aftermarket) on internet sites and none on 355 or 331 gears. Good luck. It appears to be a nice car. Just though you should be aware of these issues, one of which I have experienced myself without going into detail.

Some suggest updating the shifter to an MGW or at least change out the tail support on the shifter assembly to one more solid (Steeda or Barton) to minimize missed shifts, but nothing else I have found that has any merit that deserves repeating IMO. I have talked with George who owns (I believe) MGW and I have full confidence in his line of product over anything else. In fact Ford (as I hear it) is using his shifter on the 2013 Shelby GT500 that still runs a Tremec.

Go on a long drive and get to about 50-70 with the radio off and listen for a tranny whine. One issue these cars have and if you can have him or you take it through the gears at a higher rpm, make sure the clutch isnt sticking to the floor...
I got my 13 for 27.5 and 31 out the door with 100k bumper to bumper on it..
The Brembos they say are pointless unless your going to autocross it...

Just got home from test driving a '13 before I made any decisions (I've never driven an S197 chassis 'Stang) and I now see why everyone LOVES the new 5.0! Made a hit from 2500-ish rpm to redline in 2nd and it was like getting fired from a slingshot. And the fit and finish is amazing.
