What is the Cheapest While still 100% safe way to delete the rag joint? 200ish for a assembled shaft it just flat not in the budget at the moment. I know I can build one but what parts (part numbers) work best? (power steering BTW)

Header clearance, stearing feel/ feedback, resistance to heat from headers

I understand the feel and feedback but what kind of headers do u plan on running I know guys that run 2" primaries and run a rag joint so I don't see where clearance would come into play

Rob at Rigid made mine for me. I just bought the 2 joints and he usually has the d shafts. Fully welds everything instead of those stupid set screws.

My buddy runs a 473ci Windsor with off the shelf hooker super comps with 1 7/8 or 2" primary's and they clear everything fine

If it fits or not is not really the question, More just looking for what part numbers work the best and with as little $ as possible.

The joints are pretty expensive. The FR joints are about $70 a piece and you'll need 2. After it's all said and done you'll still probably have about $200 in it.

Ya that is pretty much what I am seeing, it is stupid how overpriced those joints are
