Friend of mine who works over in Mt. Healthy just sent me a pic from a UDF station along his way. Gas was $5.00 and something underneath it was $5.10

That's what I found as well. I posted the picture my friend sent me, on facebook. Check it out Gene
I saw, but I'm thinking that it's more likely an employee putting up the wrong numbers. There's nothing in the news and no other reports of rising gas prices. It's a digital sign, probably a typo.

Yip. likely a FOPAW. Maybe it was a foresite of future pricing on E85 (LOL)? Sounds like the price of that could go through the roof due to the summer drought and the effect it has had on corn yields across the country.

If it goes to that , i think that would be the final nail in the obama re-election campaign. Not to turn this into a political debate. I pray it dont go to that because it would be cheaper for my rollback to sit , then actually be out there doing work.

It funny cause back when they started the ethanol in gas they said it would never effect the price of gas cause there are no taxes on food products. Now look we have a drought, and it hasn't even effect the ethanol yet but we are already paying for it at the pump. I remember E85 went from 2.94gal to 3.54gal over night a few weeks ago. Just another corrupt govt telling us what they want to make it work there way and then change it when it does happen, and there is nothing we can do but bend over a take it like a champ.

So, apparently after the prices on the sign were jacked up, some trucks came in and were doing work on the pumps.... sign still remained $5.00. Trucks packed up and left, and the price went back down to $3.62.......
I would think orange cones would have been more than fucking effective for this situation!

Up around us about 25 mins west of Columbus I filled up this afternoon for $3.49 a gallon at Walmart. They are always about 2 or 3 cents cheaper than all the other stations around here.

Chicago is always significantly more expensive than down here.
Paid $3.66 today in Milford

Rising gas prices right up until November are just fine by me.
The higher the gas prices near the election the better chance of reversing an error and not repeating it!
