Went last night, located down on Riverside, near East End.

Probably the best pulled pork you are going to get this far North. The sides are awesome as well, grilled mashed taters, mac n cheese, jalapeno cheesy grits, baked beans.....they have old syle pop as well. We both ate for exactly 20 bucks.

Really a neat place, small inside, but seating outside as well. They have a ton of records, play what you want when you are eating!

If you are a drinker, you can bring your own alcohol, there were a lot of people doing it. The place was packed.

If you are going, look for the Pig sign, that is really the only sign, but you will notice the smell in the area!!

Try it out! :bigthumb

Thanks. Will take the eife there. She is from NC. Any chance they have carolina style barbecue? It's kind of a vinegar based style. Different from your typical barbecues. It's also pulled. Took me a while to like it but it really grows on you. Then you crave it.

Eli’s Pulled Pork Sandwich: Up until a few years ago, when you ordered a pork sandwich, you couldn’t be sure if it was pulled or pushed. We guarantee our pulled pork to be just that 20 hours in the making…tender, hickory smoked pork, slapped with a “vinegar mop” on the grill, topped with creamy coleslaw and Eli’s Bar-B-Q sauce, served on a toasted bun …Simple, classic, and the BEST you will find in Cincinnati, PERIOD!!

Yep! :bigthumb

The way sbz loves BBQ we need to do a pig roast. Even if it's just a little suckling, this should happen.

This was actually a live 3 man band lol. They were playing extremely loud for such a small environment. The mac n cheese was great and the beans were pretty spicy but good. Also loved the taste of their bbq suace. I was please however the ole lady said she wouldn't go back.

It is "Jim Dandy's" BBQ. They only smoke/cook with wood. They have very good ribs, BBQ, chicken & sides. I've been there several times. He's a city local owner/operator.

Went there yesterday evening. Exceptionally good BBQ, awesome baked beans, good cole slaw, and I always like jalapeno corn bread. There focus is on the food and customer service. Definetly a great dive.
