been working with kris a long time on this. first started out as over the phone help(like back in 09 i think), advise and so on.. then it turned into me being the only one other then him to ever touch the car.

its been a slow project for him over the last couple years, ive been there every step.
he got some bad service here and there, im not getting into that and giving out names and so on. ive corrected a few issues here and there along the way and then the car sat from dec 2010, until about 2 weeks ago when he had his pennies saved up to get it finished up. and here it goes!
Some details on this car. this was one of the first gen ON3 turbo kits with the house turbo. It does have studs, the 9333 felpro's in it. trick flow intake and bbk tb.. other wise stock other then the clutch, shifter and yes i know, high 3:73 gears. but the car has been daily ed with a limited street tune so he could drive it. the first tune, well im not going to speak of, but it was know where right for it. i went ahead and did every thing it needed to be time for the tune, and had it tuned for him etc, all the while updating him via facebook. car had been sitting for a year and then some, and was a bit rough. painted faded bad, thing not in place etc. well later today when he picks it up, it will be a whole car again, and very much going back to daily use!!!!

had to have a boost referencing FPR

wideband flopping around, in a 3 pillar pod and so on, not any more
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y196/gearhead559/shop%20stuff%203/IMG_20120726_195318.jpg

eating clutch cables and not shifting cause it kept hitting the turbo header and killing it, so i fire proofed it and ran it so it doesnt do it any more

and finally a complete tune in it. running gate spring of 8psi, slowly creeps to 9psi
dont have the timing cranked, and Conservative tune in this

video via our shop page
(had to have 2 people in the trunk to get it to not spin on the rollers!!)

and on to bringing it looks wise back to life!
here it is all faded and not looking good at all!(ford didnt use clear on alot of foxs, mainly red and white ones)

Ford didn't use clear coat on some colors of fox bodies? I find that hard to believe.

Not trying to be a jerk, it just seems odd. Car looks so much better though!

They didn't use a base/clear coat. It was a one shot enamel.

reds and white did not get clear, and its funny those are the worst to oxidize first....and yes they where single stage.
you can clearly see in the one pic what had oe paint, and what had been repainted with base coat clear coat. just liek some dont know that dark maroon in 99 up cars, was a 4 stage candy.. and color matching can be a pita
