Ok so I know Jack Shit about jeeps suspension, good brands and such.

Jeep is an 87 auto 4x4 4.0 we are wanting to do a 3 or 4" lift and want to get new leaf packs in the process.

Can anyone recommend some brands or local shops to go with. Thanks

MJ 4.5 kit is the best available for your leaf issue. Rusty's is a well known manufacturer. Comes with re-arched leaf packs and only runs $700- gets 31's under the fenders plus replaces stuff you need to anyway. After we get it breathing and check the driveline you order the kit and we can body saw the cancer out of the fenders to tuck 33's or hopefully 35's square away the brakes and get you in the woods waiting for a winch out:tongue2:

I'd hold off on suspension till you get it running, driving and shifting. After that get it stopping, then get the suspension squared away with a lift kit.

Buy the truck for 700, harvest the lift, rollbar, fuel tank for your truck. Keep the driveline for a spare and scrap the carcass for $200. You get a trailer, we can take the scrap wagon to falmouth saturday.

Good find with the rustys kit. That'll probably work. I have been looking all day
