What needs built? Could probably do it the way fiberglass speaker boxes are made.

Depending on what needs done, metal rods could be tacked together to make a form, or wood or whatever... then cover it with fleece or some thin cloth, then covered with the fiberglass resin, kitty hair cloth and resin, til you make a solid shell, then you can use a body filler to smooth everything out.

Alright, I want a removable hard top for my 87. I want the best of both worlds lol. I was thinking of building the frame out of aluminum then go from there. I am wanting to do away with the quarter and rear Windows. Just solid fiberglass. I know its possible, a couple places said they didn't want to try though.

yup no problem i think it would be easiest to find a vert frame and go from there but i'll see what my buds dad says like i said he's the glass master does amazing work like i said he did the smurfs that use to be at KI and he free handed those

Of course that thing will be heavier than a truck cap!

Jeff I've been up and down Google and there are a ton of how to guides. I just wanna be safe.

Stagnant they got them for edges and s197 as well.

Pit was he in woodlawn cause there was a company that did crazy stuff

If u did dare tackle i would maybe get donor roof off a car being scrapped make an oversized mold then trim to fit. Save mold sell more heh
