WTT WTB 99-04 tail lights

Im looking for a PERFECT set of OEM tails to go in my 04 Cobra. Car has some tinted tails in it now and not really my taste. I would trade straight up or buy a set out right. For the 03-04 cobra guys the third brake light is tinted too and want to swap that.

I have a set of tails from my 99 that I just wetsanded and buffed. They look new. I'd trade if you are interested. Or for a small fee I could wetsand and buff yours to make them look new again. I could do the third brake light too.

After closer inspection these just have tint over them that could be peeled off. I no longer need the 3rd brake light. I would be interested in the 99 lights if they have the amber in them. heres a link to the car I bought with pics of the tails. Im not sure if you have to be a member to look or not?? Oh yeah I forgot the cobras have the amber in the tails. Mine are all red with the white for the reverse lights. So its just the sticker tint? Id Peel it off and Polish em up good and you should be fine.

only the 99-01 cobras have the amber turn signal in them. after that all models have the same tail lights and harness.

I believe to use the other tail lights you would have to get the other harness. not sure tho. if you decide to go with regular stock lights. i have a few pairs if ya wanna trade.

You have to modifiy the wiring too. The flasher is merged with the brake signal at some point, and you have to separate them. It's not just "swap the harness" or more people would do it.

As for finding OEM tailights, you can typically find stock Mustang tailights on Ebay dirt cheap. All the kids with their V6's and fancy aftermarket lights put the stockers on Ebay for cheap.

Ebay was my second option. Ive already got a couple cheap sets in my watch list. I would rather trade these to someone local so that I can see exactlly how nice the ones Im getting are and it dont cost me a dime. Got to say though the tinted ones are growing on me the more I look at the car.

I have the tint material on mine.. it looks good on DSG. Matches the 3rd brake light as well. Teh third brake light is quite dark looking from the factory. You sure your 3rd brake light has been tinted? I also put the tint on the red reflectors on the bumper.
