I have seen this asked on many forums and it usually makes me laugh a little. There are the die hards that bash anything that doesn't have big & little draglites and ones that think anything over a 17" is "Donktacular"! Where do you stand? Everyone has a preference or opinion on these cars. I've bolted every size from a 15" to a 19" on my car, and never really chose a favorite. Nobody is wrong on this subject , it is your opinion. So let's hear it!.

Im a fan of drag style combos but youre right, any good looking set makes me smile. Outside of the 22s with a lift kit that is.

I put my 17x10.5's from my SN on the back of my fox, w/ 5/16" spacers, and I can fit a 315 drag radial with no problem and they look killer and don't stick out

Whatever will fit under the wheelwell and wont rub when it turns. I'm partial to 5 spoke drag "style" wheels such as my RaceStars, but I have a soft spot for a set of 18" FR500's.

18" wheels are tricky on fox but look good on a slammed, 17" work well. And big littles always look good but everyones got them

Like the wheels on mbubby's Fox. 88stang has anthracite deepdish bullets on his car and they looked great as well. And as Deadpedal said - any drag wheel setup looks wicked.

Fox has to be meat and skinnies. SN95 looks good either way. Some Saleen relics in a 18 on a slammed SN is killer. Some chrome 03/04 cobras in a 17 look awesome. I mean Fox coupe with big cowl and meat an skinnies is killer same with a fox GT. I just love the Fox and 94-98 bodies. Don't care much on 99 newer. But some of the saleens in that body style looks awesome with the 18's.

17's look pretty good. i thought 18 would be a rough ride with the smaller tire. this is lowered 2 in

I've had about every "typical" rim and tire combo except big and littles and by far I get more compliments and have more people ask me about them are my 18" FR500's purchased from our very own Beefcake...... he had them on his Mystic Cobra and I had to have them...... mine are 18x9 in the front and 18x10's in the rear........ I've also learned that not all fr500's are the same some have more of a lip than others mine have about a dollar bills width lip on the rear....... if i could find a billet set i'd have them widened to atleast 11"

for some reason I've got in my head i need a mini tub and an 11" so I could spread a 305 or 315 on the rear........

set up a poll! I personally like anything that looks good. lol big, little, race, chrome, black out, its all fun and different. wheels has to match the car! no 26' spinners on a stang but maybe on a tahoe. Donks are not for me.

Got roll with the drag set-up! But then I'm a drag racer so what would you expect.

Any tasteful 15-18's. The less common the better.

We must have very different offset 17x10.5's. If I had a 5/16" spacer my wheels would be sticking out a mile on each side. I'm running stock fox length axles so maybe you have a different length axle?

I am also running fox length axles. 5 lug, 31 spline. And actually, they make the drums hang out of the dust shields about a quarter of an inch. Wheel/tire is still super flush w// fender

Axles came from Craig's coupe. On the setup he had before he tore it apart and sold it to Shayne

I completely agree with you. That's exactly why it has taken me years to find exactly the wheel I want on my car. I know a lot of the replica / OEM wheels look great on these cars , but I want mine to be something nobody else has within a 100 mile radius! 17" big and littles or 18" mesh wheels are what I'm thinking now. Maybe we should have a tire and wheel thread. Where people post pictures and info on their set-ups. Just like Dave and Jesse, people could see where potential variances may be on different set-ups. Just a thought
