Just got word one of my buddys I was waiting on to get back with me so redfirepearlgt could send some supplies to the troops got blown up yesterday. Details are fuzzy but my buddys name is Lance Leininger he's. 22 and he's got from what I been told a ton of shrapnel in his body and a lot in his face, they had to remove part of a lung and they are trying to get him good enough to fly to Germany. If you would keep him in your prayers. You should hear about it on the news Monday or Tuesday.

I got this from his mom
I also spoke with the Army this morning so here is what we know at this time: Lance is currently in the air on his way to Germany (he was pulled from the plane for some "unknown" reason but is now airborne). He should land in Germany in approximately 3 hours; it will be at least 2 more after that before we get any information. Lance is not in good condition. He is stable but that's about the only thing good. In addition to the injuries, etc I listed previously, I found out yesterday that they have removed the middle part of his lung. He has a patch on his left eye (shrapnel possibly) and his left eardrum is "fractured" (from the explosion most likely). He has a tracheotomy, continues to be intubated (on a respirator) and sedated (medically induced coma). He also has a c-collar which is like a back brace. I will continue to post updates as I receive them. With specific regard to Lance, if it doesn't come from me, it is not the true story. I will post whatever I find out because I know Lance has a lot of friends and "other family" out there that love him and want to know what's up. I will be honest and tell you all I know even though it is difficult. Those of you who know me, know I don't sugarcoat, so please know that I am telling you all I know. Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers.

I know you all more then likely don't know this guy but I spent almost everyday with him when I was over there 2010-2011. He's a good guy, he used his cash he made over seas to help his family and start a wood floor install company and he got on the 2011-20 12 deployment to make more money to jump start his life. Were all praying for him.

Thanks everyone. I been doing stuff with the army the past few days and got the skinny on a few things. 4 durkas dressed as afghan police got on there out post and was shooting up tents and tossing granades in. Well Lin got shot twice and the frag got tossed under his bunk or close to it. Is belly section got split wide open. But he is on his way to the states he is alert and aware and answered yes no questions with nod of the head. They had to staple a few things back and has a tube down his neck. He's a hard core guy they asked if he was in pain and he said no. He never would admit he was. He said yes when asked if he wanted to go back and get even. So he has a long way to recovery but its looking good. This guy is a hell of a fighter. Quit isn't in his vocabulary

Man.....Very sorry to hear about this. Sounds like he will make thru. If he's well enough to be sent back to the States so quickly, that is a GREAT sign for him. The Military medicine apparatus is very, very good and has top notch troops. So Lance is in very good hands right now.
I hope and pray he (and all the others) get well and get back home SOON !!
We have spilled way too much blood over there already IMHO. Get this shit stopped and our Troops back here damn it!

I'm not a praying person, but fully support those that serve WILLINGLY and some end up pay the ultimate price.
Most think Wednesday is an off day. While I might sleep in, the rest of the day I will be out honoring out country and those that defend it.
Biggs in Ft. Mitchell is my first stop.
