Why does one set of headers look so different than the others. Which one is best.

Top ones look stock.

Bottom ones are rusty, but equal lenghts. Clean em up and they'll be decent if the studs are in good shape

Yeah the bottom one is alot better. It doesnt have the kinked tubes and are bigger diameter. Sorry about my invisible joke!!

You could sand blast them and paint with a high temp paint (VHT) or have them coated.

That's what I will do. I work in a power plant. I don't have feelings any more, not to mention 2 daughters and a wife

Just my opinion but the equal length headers will help you out power wise they also are hard on the framerails as far as long term ,they seem to create rust issues ,you have to keep your plug wires off them with zip ties or something to keep them from laying on the headers.just my personal experience,i have owned many foxbodys and each one that had them equal lengths on there I could always tell if they were on there for a.long time or not....I will.say that they are a good seller if you ever decided to part with them.

Both sets have 1 stud broke. Shouild I just drill it out and put a new one in

You could probably heat the flange and twist it out with a pair of vise grips.
