So, I was on lunch one day out in the parking lot of my work, and I was driving my '94 GT that I've owned for 7 years. And I was cleaning out the junk from the center console, since this car hasnt been my daily driver since '08... and I remembered that under the cassette tape holder I once found gas reciepts... well, I didnt think anything of them when I first found them in '05-'06, so I took them out and got to looking at them, and found that all of them had the same name of a person. So, I started googling that name, and eventually found the person. Well, I called him, and it turns out that he was the original owner of my '94. I am the 2nd owner if you dont count the dealership owning it for 3 months.

Anyway, we had a short chat on the phone about it, and I asked if he had the window sticker... well, just the other day I got it in the mail....

Too cool to find get a piece of this cars history, even though it has almost a quarter of a million miles on it, and under any other circumstances would have probably been destroyed long ago in to a pole, tree or ditch if I had not bought it....

So I've got the owners manual, warranty card, everything else to it in the glove box. Now I have the piece I've longed to have since the day I bought the car.

I've got two for mine. The dealership tore mine on accident and ordered me another one.

Pretty cool !! That was a well optioned GT. Almost looks like the original owner ordered it that way if his last name was Owen (last line under the optional equipment section).

Wow, look at the base price. A gt now is pretty much double that.

Actually Walter a base GT (5.0 coupe) is about 31K. But still there is a 50% increase in price. But you do get 420HP with a 6speed vice 225HP with a 5speed.

I found the original build sheet still in my Cobra 3 months after I got it - it was wedged between the bumper and the fuel tank.

I wouldn't mind finding that too.... but after the miles this thing has seen.... its probably disintegrated

Yea but 20k for a fully loaded 94 then add 11k worth of mods, then the new base GT has no chance in hell. Just sad how much new cars are, and yeah they have so much more hp and options but won't last as long as the olders or the build quality can't compete either.

I kept my window stickers. Yeah the new cars won't last as long or have as good as build quality;)
