it has come time for me to part ways with my SHO:(. The car is almost 20yrs old, and has become too much of a pain for me to want to keep it. the body has 255k(i'm guessing, but will check later and verify) on it while the engine has 135k. I am parting with it due to the motor having a knock on the front bank, and oil light comes on when running. i have not started it again since i heard it to avoid hurting the block. i believe it is rod bearings, but am not 100% sure. it started after doing the upper tune-up(plugs, wires, intake gaskets. valve shims looked fine) a couple of weeks ago. car has 3 newer tires with less than 5k on them. the 4th is about a year old, and still has great tread- all are goodyear tires. recently had tie-rod ends done at smyth's.
car is a 5spd. has k&n panel filter and that's the only "mod". interior looks like a 20yr old cars interior. was repainted by maaco about 5 years ago. i can't think of anything else so pm me or ask in this thread.
$800 for the car as it is. bearing sets are $11/ea.
