So I find a diesel truck that I am interested in on craigslist tonight. I call the guy and ask if I can can come look at it. He says sure. When I get home from work I will call you. So I called him back a little later with a couple more questions about the truck. He answers them and says I should be home shortly but my girlfriend is pissed off about something. He says he will call me. So low and behold about 1/2 hr later he calls. And says I cant come out and look at the truck tonight. That some things came up. Maybe next week sometime I can show it to you. Fuckin really Jack....It's fucking Wednesday and you are telling me not til next week. I have an idea for ya Jack. Take your fucking truck and turn it sideways and shove it up your candy ass!!!! I mean cheese and rice. I know shit happens out of the blue all the time unexpectingly, but not til next week. I guess you dont want to sell your shit that bad after all then. I texted him later on and said how about tomorrow or anyday this week. He says man I dont know. Maybe Friday perhaps.

I hate people like that they obviously dont want to sale there stuff that bad when i am trying to sale something i try an make myself available ne time than you got jackasses like that that i swear just put stuff on there to try an see what its worth to people an dont have really any interest in selling it at all well good luck on finding a truck hopefully you dont run into a bunch of idiots like that guy

Yeah its been for sale for almost a month now. And he has a good price on it for all the mods and everything thats done to it. So who knows what the deal is. I was shocked he still had it when I placed the first call to him. But after the 2nd call and what he told me. It seems to be a no brainer now as to why he still has it. He sounds like a super young kid on the phone. I mean hell I sold our jet ski's yesterday. I had several people lined up through emails and phone calls that wanted them and I had set up times with them to show them the ski's. The first guys that came bought them on the spot. I took the 15 minutes out of my evening last night and called everyone else and shot emails out to let the other possible buyers know that they were sold. I didn"t have to do that. But I guess I was just brought up different.

I'm thinkin dude is running a scam. He either doesn't really have the truck, OR, Maybe he has the truck but not the title, or he is trying to sell the truck when he doesn't have the authority. Something is way more wrong than he is just fighting w/ his g/f. He doesn't want you to come see it until he has more time to fix/hide something thats majorly wrong with it, or to steal the title from his poor unsuspecting senile grand dad...a million scenarios come to mind. All of them, not good for you. Normal ppl, legitimately selling an item, act normal. This guy is acting as nutty as a squirell turd. RUN. Seriously.

I can understand your frustrated but sometimes things come up and the last thing on your mind is selling something.

I got in a HUGE fight with my wife a few Fridays ago to the point that I had no clue if I would have a house to stay in. I completely forgot to call someone so I could meet them and pick up a part I wanted, did not dawn on me until Monday.

I have had that happen a few times with buying stuff. My advice is dont give up. Chances are he has pissed others off so there might not be anyone else to buy it once he does decide to sell. Then you might end up with a smoking deal. Its hard not to take things personal but if ya want something giving up doesnt work!

That's definitely an annoying situation. The most frustrating to me is when a guy has their car for sale, you agree to terms, etc, and then they said they can't sell it until they find their next car. I understand some (or most) people only have one car, but don't list it until you have everything in order to close the deal.

Best of luck with your search. There's plenty of trucks available from good sellers that won't dick you around, just be patient.

Yes the spam sucks. At least it's pretty obvious though. Ya usually get emails with th first sentence of your ad and a ? Mark. I'm assuming they are waiting for a reply to start a scam.
