trying to track down a set of engine perches for my f100. need them to drop this 302 in. i need small block (302,351W or C) from years 67-77. 78-79 wont work. i'm not talented enough to fabricate my own! if anyone know where any f150's or 100's are sitting in a bone yard somewhere that would be awesome. thanks.

My friend Matt is an old ford truck nut, and he said it goes '63-'72, then '73-'79. As far as mount/frame compatibility goes.

Stangman, 67-72 was the bumpside bodystyle, 73-79 was the dentside. 78-79 they had minor changes on a few things, one being the perch location. Alot of info on fordification.com about parts that interchange. Orangeconv, not positive if they will or will not work but lean more toward the will not work. A guy I work with had these and junked the truck months back, never knew until after the fact

It's cool bro and thanks for the help. Thought I had a set lined up and the guy sold them out from under me. 73-79 is the same bodystyle, my dad restored a 78 F250 with a built 460. It's got some balls lol. They search goes on, sure some will turn up eventually. Thanks for the help guys.

Try Dennis Carpenter, he has a whole line of resto pieces.

^^^ Yeh there are a few places to buy resto pieces but was trying to do it on the cheap. Body is swiss cheese on this truck, just plan on hitting it with a flat green, slamming it an making it go fast. Still haven't had time to mess with the 302 an C4 I got for it. If the motor needs too much i'm gonna go ahead an put the money into a built 460 for it.

1970 is what mine is. 302 perches from 67-77 will work. They changed them from 78 on. Wouldn't mind finding a 73-77 f150 or f100 parts truck that had a 302, could use some other parts to upgrade my swap. I have discs for the front brakes an a tilt column to toss into it. Need a few other parts to make the swaps work.

are you sure 65-66 will not work?

orangeconv, don't think they will work. I'm on a 67-72 ford truck forum also and it doesn't seem like the previous years were an option, as far a bolting right on. I am limited to tweaking or fabricating as I have a small garage an not the right tools.
