Is anybody on here running a 351 in a Foxbody with an AOD? I am curious if I went this direction what issues I may run into. I know what it takes parts wise to do the swap, it is the experiences others have had I am interested in knowing. Any tips or tricks to this swap would be appreciated. I am kicking around ideas right now. :bigthumb

On real issues, will bolt up just like a 302. If you are going to run longtube headers, there are not a lot of manufactures that make them for a 351w and an AOD.

The BBK's don't fit the AOD without some serious work, or at least they didn't but they could have revised them. I'd consider using a mid length header if I was going to do it again and just have someone make you a custom X-pipe.

I just came across this. You can get some idea of how it would be layed out. He had some fitment issues with the accufab headers but it looks like it could be related to a motor mount change. In any event, it's a minor detail.
