UMTR 6/16 - spectatin'

Well SBZ the month of June is upon us already. For those younger folks I guess "It's finally here" LOL! Time moves faster as you age. ANYWHOOOOO...

This month provides an opportunity to go watch the UMTR races at Edgewater on SATURDAY 6/16.

Cost to watch is 12.00 per adult and 5.00 per kid. I assume dogs get in free.

Time trials kick off at 3:30pm, with eliminations at 7:00 pm.

Is anyone interested in meeting up and hanging out to watch? I was planning on being there around 5:00pm or a little before. We could meet up at the concession stand. I am assuming that parking will be in the spectator area to the left of the entrance since this is a racing event which eliminates parking to the far side of the concession stand. IF anyone knows otherwise please post up and we spetators can all park there.

It does not require a copleted car to come hang out. You can invite non SBZ members. This is not an exclusive invitation. Just thought this would be a nice change of pace from cruise ins.

Yes that would be correct. Spectator parking is up to the left of the gate when you come in. If you've never seen a UMTR race. You will have a good time. Its anywhere from 7 seconds to 11 seconds of gear jamming and wheel standing action for us Quick Stick guys. And the street stick class is primarily 11's -17 seconds of the same!!! Its a great time for the whole family.

6/16 is also the next Extreme Outlaws race at Kilkare. Lots of good racing to pick from to watch that saturday.

Come on down to the wall! There is no pecking order, we all just try to stay out of each other's way. You can shoot flash if you want, based on my experience I'm never happy with results from flash shots. I'll bring your lens cap with me!

Good time toninght. Kennebell went to the semi finals in street. Jack says I can't come back because I am bad luck. He broke out in the first round. Sorry Steve. Great to see Aperacer, MrsApe, Paul408, Blackhorse, and Ryan again. And Ryan thanks for the tips on shooting. ALso great to have had mustangjon and fience with us. A nice chance to finally meet Rixxx93gt as well. Gordon and company also made an appearance. So those of you who stayed home missed a really good time. Take everyone. Sorry Jack!

Sorry UMTR gyuys if I wasn't able to catch a photo or two. Ryan was giving me pointers so this was a learning experience more than anything. My main focus is to excite the site into getting together and getting out more.
