After Years Without Stang.....Finally Bought One!!

1993 GT All stock except an Xcam and flowmasters....yes an Xcam. I know why??? Clean car, still has foglight brace and air silencer. Previous owner said " that cam sure sounds good", I said yes but "why"!! Hopefully make it on over to the project thread soon. :bigthumb

Thanks everyone. The bottom trim is gold...not factory silver. But the top is factory reef blue. Mike at Dayton 5.0 has the tranny now.....second gear issues. yes hope to have it out this summer and then mod it up this winter!!!

I hope you're going to do a good h/c/i to compliment that way overkill cam. I thought the pistons had to be notched for the x-cam? Car looks great though!

Agree with overkill cam. As for piston notching......some good some not. I heard that too but I had a 89 with an xcam stock bottom and heads that had good clearance. If she breaks.....all the more reason to build it right, we will know by summer's end.....!! Thanks:bigthumb

I hear that.....it only took me about 8 mos of trolling everywhere to find this one and then it was in my hometown. Still can't believe the junk that is out there:(:( Go figure!!
