I know, this is a Mustang site but I have a feeling several people on here are probably into more things with 4-wheels than Mustangs! Took my TJ up to Lake Michigan / Silver Lake Sand Dunes over Memorial Day weekend and had a blast! I have been on a couple trail rides at Big Rock in Maysville, KY as well with a group of guys.
Here is a picture of mine (white) and my father in laws (black) Jeeps on the dunes after climbing about a 100' verticle hill!
Anybody else into this? Post up some pics!

Lucky!! I love the look of the lifted Mj's.
I had an old XJ with a 3 in lift and 33's. I will never own another 4 cylinder lifted anything again

Lol yeah. Thankfully this one has the 4.0 4wd. It should do us well for a camping rig.

I bought a 2006 TJ on 12/31/12. It is a Golden Eagle edition (has the Dana 44). It had 27k on it when I bought it... sitting a little over 30k now. It has the I-6 4.0L and the 6 speed manual tranny. They day after I bought it I removed the yellow decals. Since then Ive installed a Rough Country 3.25" lift (biggest lift I could so and fit in my garage), got rid of the hideous gold wheels and installed black ATX rims with 33" Falken tires. I have redone the entire stereo with a stealth sub box built into the underside of the rear seat with a shallow 10inch sub among a few other minor things. Here are a couple of pics:

She doesnt quite compare to the Mustang I once had, but I do really enjoy working in and driving it. Havent done any off road as of yet.

VERY nice lookin ride! I am still able to get mine in the garage with the 4" lift but barely. I am only running 31" tires right now though.

It's only a Jeep if it has scratches and dents all over from trailriding, I miss this thing so bad, but with Mustang and boating I never used it on trails anymore so I sold it... man the almost bad things that happened in this thing...lol

The wife has a 2011 Sahara with a Teraflex budget boost lift and 33" Goodyear Duratracs. I have had a couple other YJ and TJs over the years. My brother in law has always had a purpose built crawler that we wheel all over the place. It's a 97 chassis that is bobbed with a 118" wheel base sitting on 42s. Tune port 383 with an automatic, atlas twin stick, dynatrax 60s with 5.38s and Bilstein coil overs with reservoirs . Very well built! We have a lot of fun in it. Once I get to my computer I will post up some pictures. Here is the wife's.
