i was wondering would it be worth it to change my factory 93 5.0 heads with 5E7? i can get a set of fresh 5E7 for 75$ i really want gt40p but i cant find a set in my price range right now, i fiugerd if i port and match these 5E7 to my gt40p intake they would be ok with a good 512 lift cam or maybe e303/f303/x303? maybe 1.7 rockers,
whats your all thoughts?
thanks

Honestly after all the work you have to do and the price of gaskets, just be patient and get the GT40 heads you really want. I don't know that the investment on them heads depending on exactly what was done will be worth it over your current heads unless you have to change heads to keep it running. That's my $.02

Just ask if they got a 98 explorer and don't tell them what you want. I got my gt40p's from Jeff on here for 180 i think and the intake to match from tonyt for 100 and when i sell my truck ( somebody make me an offer on it) i am getting the trick flow springs like Jeff. Books on to some cash those things are always floating around here.
