I found a On3 turbo kit for my 06 GT. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these kits on a 06? any issues with fitment, quality or performance? would you say NIB complete kit 70mm on3 turbo minus injector, pump, tune for $1500 is a good deal. I was thinking about buying but dont want to buy junk. what do you guys think?

YouTube a couple videos and Google search. You can usually find anything on Google. $1500 sounds like a steal for a turbo kit. Is it used? I know plated has a kit.

I've never seen a s197 kit but the one I saw installed on a new edge was decent. Don't expect OE fit and finish but for the price they are pretty hard to beat.

Actually they have really worked hard on getting their kits to fit very well. The price is awesome and the quality of the kits they have now compared to the past are way better.

I would jump all over that kit if I were you.

Quality and fitment is terrible. Search on the S197 forums about them dragging the ground and blowing oil lines off and destroying a few motors. Also its made with cheap thin stainless steel that will eventually crack.

Plated's kit was made by Zimmer. I didn't install it, but it seemed to fit well. No ground clearance issues or any of the BS you will get with an On3kit. :bigthumb

I think I will hold off and get a better quality kit. I hate to pay in the long run. pay now or later I guess.
