I sold my dpms with 4 30 round mags and a trijicon red dot for 650.. I also had the removable carry handle. I picked up a new rock river with quad rail stage two trigger and other fun stuff for 1000

DPMS is bottom of the barrel ARs and then their higher quality ones are way over priced. I would just avoid DPMS. If you want an AR you can build one slowly over time like i did and get the best of parts for good prices.

^^^This, I have Rock River Tactical Operator, it's $1000, but it has a lot of options, and you can't build it for that. The problem with the one pictured (don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's a fine rifle) is if you wanted to mod it, you would end up changing everything on it. Trigger-$150, chrome bcg-$200, quad rail-$150, flat top upper ~$100 plus labor.
For the money, this is hard to beat.

Actually, any of these is a good choice. Chrome bolt carrier's are nice, they clean up much easier than standard black oxide bolt's. But AR's are the Lego's of guns, they can be made into whatever you like.

If you would like to build one look at Bravocompanyusa.com best bang for your buck. If you need help assembling it let me know. Also on what parts you would need to buy to make your own.

I'd toss them $550ish considering it comes with mags.
I prefer irons, the forged carry handle upper doesn't bother me. However, if you want to shoot optics, it severely limits what your options are.

We tend to have a few AR's. Between myself and the other full time store front employee, we've got a LOT of rounds down range in a lot of different scenarios and situations, some real world, some training, some instruction. AR's start at $700 and go up to $2400 if my memory is right, and we're open till 20:00 M-H, along with Friday and Saturday if we aren't working at a gun show.
