How straight is it? Gloss black will show every little defect, ding and wave.

Definitely not Flat. That makes a car look cheap.

its pretty straight, i mean it has a dime size dent on the drivers side door from another car door. and has your typical scratches and stuff like that. its 10year old paint.

I agree with Gloss. Just my 0.02. In the end its your car - do it the way you want it. Can't wait to see it at the cruise in either way.

I am using "gloss" in general as the finish type vice eggshell, matte, etc.
"super freakin' mirror shiny black". Whatever that color code by whatever mfgr that may be. I will say this though. The shinier the black the easier it seems to show scratches. Have fun.

I love a super shiney black. there really isnt anything that compares lol its jsut so hard to keep it that way when its a DD. Orignally i wanted to change it to white.

I think this is actually Satin Black but it was gorgeous. If it's done right I think flat black is smokin' hot. I wish we'd paint our other coupe flat black.

Those cars are great for two tone schemes. A deep glossy black on the bottom and some type of vibrant color on top. With a nice stripe color to break it up. Just an idea.
