Best quiet mufflers?

I've got an off road x pipe with two chamber flow masters and no tail pipes on my GT but it is way too loud. Tail pipes are out of the question, so I'm looking at adding turn downs and changing the mufflers. What's a good, quiet muffler that won't cost a ton of money?

I have a set of 3" magnaflows that are 18" long. You would be shocked how quiet the car is....

Dynomax all the way that's what I run on my 331 and it sounds a little louder than stock.

Magnaflows. Had massive drone on my 05 running - Pypes LT's / OR-xpipe / stinger style (MBRP from Steeda) exhaust. Drove me nuts at 1800-2000. I placed Magnaflows (the oval one) on the 05 and it is great. Still has tone at idle, still says BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH at WOT but does not drive you lo-co in the car. I ran them on my 02 GT as well that had an O/R x-pipe as well and liked them a lot. You can pick up magnaflow mufflers relatively cheap. That is ones that aren't polished stainless. Dynomax would be a great altrenative as well.

Thanks for the recommendations guys. The drone is what kills me. It's ridiculous. I'm going to try to find a set of dynomax or magnaflows.

I liked the sound of the set of dynomax's I use to run. Sound like stock at idle...but roared pretty good at WOT. No drone at highway rpms.

The magnaflows on my vette are super quiet and there still straight thru my car felt like it picked up some power switching from the flowmasters

I love the Magnaflows I have for my Lincoln... if anyone has ever heard my Mark Viii, it is straight piped and stupid loud.... slipped the mags over the pipes and cut the sound over halfway and made a killer exhaust tone

I like Dynomax Suoer Turbos, the Magnaflow I have right now sound almost the same as them, I will be getting the Dynomax soon due to other fitment issues, I got a deal on Magnafkow so I grabbed it at the time
