I have a eddy 1406, the carb is getting 5.5 psi fuel, holds good idle, but when giving gas it takes a second for the carb to drop back to idle. I hope I am explaining this right. Any thoughts on this. I checked fro vacuum leaks.

I had a similar issue with my last Holley. It drove me absolutely insane. The only thing i could figure is there was a vacuum leak on the carb itself somewhere and i couldn't figure out where. I know it wasn't the car because swapping carbs eliminated the issue.

I put a timing light on it and backed the timing off and it helped alot. Its almost gone.
