Got a buddy whos looking to paint an old school bicycle and was wanting a candy blue. The paints he has found all seem to be pretty expensive. Any help? I think he wants a single stage paint.

Candy wont be single stage. Just go to yourlocal auto paint supply house and look at some chips.

Candy it a translucent topcoat that go's over a silver or red or something. The candy it's self is not expensive but you need to buy base and clear as well to complete the look. Carquest carries House of Kolor paint and are a tad cheaper than a full on auto paint store
