so i know this sounds crazy but i just set my tps on my car and it was at 1.2 and now i set it at .96. i have heard different things to set it at what is the best?

the part that is throwing me off is it was at a 1.0 last time i checked it then this time it was higher

ideal is .99, Have u messed with ur idle in between checking it?

Don't get too caught up in the idea that it needs to be a particular number. As long as it's between .70 and 1.0 you're good.

The thought that it needs to be exactly .98 or .99 is a myth. More important is that the TPS voltage increases smoothly as you open the throttle.
