I just bought a 88 gt and it is running extremely rich. Does anybody know what size injectors it has? They are blue and have a part # f1tf-d5a. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I bought this car and it is a basketcase. The injectors are the same as come on the 95 cobra come to find out. It has typhoon intake and some sort of camshaft but is still speed density. It runs like *as but I picked it up cheap.

They are for sure 24 lbs injectors if they are blue and came off a '95 Cobra. You need to find a set of 19 lbs ones or better yet change it to MAF and get a 24 lbs sensor for the MAF.

Easiest way is a MAF computer from an 89-93 car and a wiring harness from a 1989 Mustang V8. The next way would be a computer from a 89-93 and buy one of the MAF conversion harnesses they sell. You need to be able to do some of your own wiring to get it to work, but it can be done. Also should add if you have an AOD you need a compter from an AOD car. If you have a 5 speed either computer will work, but most say the A9L computer is the one you want.

...or keep it SD and pull the cam and injectors. All depends what your future plans are with it.
