I'm telling you I think that cooler was contaminated that you installed, change the filter and see iff it helps. If it was too bad it will do all kinds of damage but it was great until you did that...you need more stall anyway.

If auto's are junk, I am the king of junk. :D
I have 9 of various versions, C4/Turbo 350/Turbo 400/AOD's, sitting in my one storage place here plus another 3 in another storage unit elsewhere on top of the 2 I still haven't moved from my parent's house.

I believe they have their place on cars that need to build boost or a car thats really fast and a stick wont work. No need for an auto in any 10 sec car....ever

I can agree w/ that...

I disagree, depends on weight/ On 3000lb car yeah ok. On 4000lb car if it runs 12's it needs an auto. A manual has a huge disadvantage, no torque multiplication. If you bracket race the auto is best. It's not like the choices are t5 or c4 anymore. The manual is no longer more efficient than the auto like it was on c4's. You also don't wear your foot out in traffic pumping a heavy duty clutch with an auto. Manuals definately rule in lightweight low power applications. I wouldn't have a auto in my 4cyl ranger for anything. I don't see a manual having an advantage over any automatic mustang from 1994 to present. It just becomes choice. The manual provides a fun factor, but is also driver sensitive. If you are one of those guys who wants to manuallly shift an auto then buy a manual and quit tearing up your auto. Electronically controlled automatics lag like crazy when manually shifted.

I got a rant for you, dump mfers that think because they got a manual they can weld the exhaust in solid with the cheapest junk headers they can find and not worry about it, before you know it the engine has to be halfway removed in order to get the damn clutch out. Every guy who can bolt a clutch together thinks they are an expert mechanic and never has any thought for what happens when it needs to be replaced. Just because the transmission seperates from the transmission doesn't mean you don't still need an access to get the bellhousing off.

I agree automatics are boring, unless they're built with bands, good stall & a brake, then they are ok, LoL

2 pedals and a button are the way to go ET Racing.. I give credit to all that run a MANUAL in those heads up classes, but in ET Racing there are few that can be consistent enough, to be competitive and win.. I suppose if you took away the trans-brakes and E-Shift it would be a level playing field, but we know that ain't gonna happen..

for the most part i agree with you. when it comes to racing Auto is the way to go if you dont wanna worry about missing a shift. or being consitant. ya cant shift faster than an auto. But when it comes to the people who just want to enjoy the car. Personally i go with the manual. When you shift you become apart of the car and you can control the car more.
Manually shifting and auto is dumb also just tears it up.

It didn't end there, spent about 2 hours with my head under the dash last night it has some aluminum aftermarket cable linkage for the clutch and there is nothign to retain the cable on the lever. Trying to put a zip tie on it one handed.....Makes me wonder it it wouldn't be easier to take the crap out and put a little metal bracket on it.
