Bought new headlights for my 95 gt. didn't go with any kind of "different" ones, just wanted stock replacements so they would be nice and shiny. Went with reproductions...fail! the headlight sections arent too bad actually. Looked decent and fit well. The corner lenses one the other hand...CRAP!!!

The corner lenses fit in the holes right but the rubber that runs along the top didnt lay againt the body. I tried moving the lense around and the rubber just starts peeling off and I hadn't even touched it. I looked at the other sides new lens and sure enough same thing. Well I guess thats what I get for trying to save a few bucks, so they all came out and sent back to cj pony and new Ford ones are on their way.

Lesson learned. Do not try and save a few bucks if you want your car to look like "factory new" it wont work out very often.

I had the same kind of luck, with 5.0 Resto lights. They leak really bad, as well.

I got some bad ones too (rubber coming off)for my 97 from American Muscle. Lots of regrets getting them.

Good information, I'm in need of a new set for my 87 Gt, does anyone know of a good one piece set? I like the look of them better than the six piece sets that very rarely seem to look right.
