Pretty sure they are the same, just some of the older 2.3s had the single hump vs the double hump.
The one on my 2.3 is about rusted through, so just double checking that pulling one from a V8 is no problem.

5 speed cars I believe are the same, I think the 4 banger auto crossmembers are different.

For sure the autos are different but Im inclined to say that the 5 speed is as well. Might be better to get your old one out and compare.

I remember having an issue when I put the 5 speed in my old 93. PM Carl USAFStang and ask him whats on it now.

Yes Andy. Thanks Carl! I dont remember for sure what the problem was but Im thinking it was the auto crossmember was too far back for a t5.

I am in no rush for the cross member. I try to do my parts collecting a fair amount ahead of time.
Won't be pulling the engine and tranny, till the turbo motor is rebuilt and the ECU arrives anyway.

Thanks for the offer but it would cost me more in gas to get up there than it would to buy a new one.
