Hey guys. My friend asked me to help him sell a car he inherited, and after doing some research online, I'm having issues pricing it. Hopefully you guys can help. Here's the info:

1974 Ford Thunderbird. One Owner. Bought New. 460 ci. All Original, Stock. 42903 Original Miles. Always parked in heated garage. Maintenance Records. Leather, Power Windows & Seats, Landau Top. Mint Condition

I have more pictures of it, but I think two will do for now.

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

I had a friend with a almost identical T-Bird, one owner low miles, he sold it for $4500.00 on eBay.

I would get an appraisal done on the car, then you have paperwork to support it.

Not many of those mid 70's boats still around in any make or model. Would be very difficult to price being its not the most popular T-bird ever made.

All said though it sure is in beautiful shape. Glad you posted the pics. GLW getting it appraised and sold.

Ever thought of Meccums? It just might find an owner through that auction in Indy coming up in May. I know those are more collectable higher end cars but you never know.

NADA does have valuations for older cars

You also may want to poke around some of the auction results sites (like Mecum's Infonet) to see what the current market at auction is like for cars like this.

This is the exact problem I've been dealing with. It's very hard to find any comps for sale, especially in this condition unrestored.

I'm going to do more research on Mercums and go from there.

From the info I've found so far, we're going to list it for $7500 and consider trades for practical, good mileage daily drivers (Civic, Corolla, Accord, etc).

More opinions are definitely appreciated! :bigthumb
