So have been reading online a lot of mixed opinions , break in period for gears?

i have mine about a 2 mile until i got to a good place to dead stop it and dump it in second lol

i never break in gears if there installed correctly with the proper fluid, what is there to break in?

They said a tank I held off til 50 miles! and 700 the 4.10s are awesome thanks for the Advice

? my 3.73 i let rip as soon as i got it back together and on the road, got 50,00 on the mortor now, i never had any problems.

Ya 10 miles before I ripped it I can tell u I love 4.10s Idc about it being loud and less mpg which I really think it got better more city driving though, thanks sbz

I have to agree with an earlier post...if the pattern is right and fluid in the rear I don't see the need to break em in. I guess it is metal against metal and a little driving should do it fine. at the speed the rear is rotating it wouldn't take long at all to establish the wear in. with that said...the last set I changed was broke in on the drag strip!
